HTC EVO 4G is official

Most people following CTIA 2010 have already heard the big news on the Android front: the rumored HTC WiMAX “Supersonic” is officially dubbed the HTC EVO 4G and will be available sometime in the summer.  The focus here is multimedia, being displayed on a beautiful 4.3 inch TFT LCD.  It is powered by the super speedy 1GHz Snapdragon processor that is found in the Nexus One along with 512MB of RAM and 1GB built-in storage space.

There are two cameras on this phone, one on each side.  The one in the front is 1.3 megapixel and should be used for making video calls, while the camera in the back is 8 megapixel  and capable of recording video at 720p.  It has a kickstand for displaying movies and picture slideshows conveniently, as well as an HDMI out port to display its content on an HDTV as it was mean to be seen.
